Looking back, it seems that in 2016, I printed lotus twice, in July and August, and the July lotus was exhibited in the 2017 Takuga Exhibition, but the August lotus has not had a chance to be seen in person so far. Instead, it is being used for various printed materials such as calendars and incense. I hope you will be able to see the original somewhere.

July lotus takuga. This should be the work that was taken to the clinic in Kanagawa Prefecture.

I always think “I’m sorry” when I spray ink on a pure white flower.

I should have tried to see the saucer when I pressed the lotus flower

August lotus. I think I was finally able to create a takuga with a lotus-like composition.

Originally, the flower had the look of a clear beauty.

The August lotus takuga is also used as a design for calendars and posters for takuga exhibitions.

It was also used in the center of the poster for the 2022 Takuga exhibition.
