彼岸花は毎年のように拓画しているため、展覧会やカレンダーなどに何度か登場しています。
拓画講座の中で生徒さんと一緒に摺ったり彩色したことも。
複雑な植物が上手く摺れると生徒さんたちもやはり盛り上がります。みなさんが楽しんでくださるとわたしもとても嬉しい。
Since I have done Takuga of higanbana every year, it has appeared several times in exhibitions and calendars.
I have also printed and colored it with my students in Takuga classes.
The students get excited when they can successfully print complicated plants. I am very happy when everyone enjoys my work.

Takuga was done on a Japanese paper called Nihonbashi by Ozu Washi. The paper is thin, but it prints very beautifully.
