Last week I was at the “LOHAS Festa” in Hikarigaoka Park, and next week I will be at an event in Fukushima Prefecture, but this weekend I will be out west.
While I was away, I found the fruit of the Jack in the pulpit that I have made the cover of next year’s calendar! I was not allowed to collect them, so I could not make a takuga of them, but I took the snapping a picture of them.
In the last Snake year (2013), the cover of the large calendar was a shepherd’s purse that looked like a snake, and the desk calendar made of Echizen photo washi paper and notebook had a fruit of the Jack in the pulpit collected in western Saitama Prefecture on the cover.
In addition, a small pineapple was found arranged in a vase at another location! Since I had made a takuga the other day, I felt a sense of familiarity with it, and was very excited about this as well.
With permission, I was able to take a picture of it. Let’s see what we can find today.
The original looks like this.
