本来公園や街路の植物の採取は違法ですが、“かつしかを摺るvol.2”で堀切の植物を拓画にするため、葛飾区の地域振興課や公園課、道路補修課街路樹係など、いろいろな方に企画をご理解いただき、ご協力いただいています。
折角いただいた植物たちを少しでもタイミングよく拓画にするため、お天気のチェックが欠かせません。
ここのところ短時間で摺る時は養生を省いて玄関先で噴霧しているので、もともと天敵だった風に加え、雨も大敵。
一昨日は、雨の間の晴れ間を狙って花材を出したりしまったり。
でも、なんとか作品にできそうでホッとしています。

Collecting plants from public parks and streets is generally prohibited. However, for “Printing Katsushika with Takuga vol.2”, I have been granted special permission to work with plants from Horikiri for Takuga. This was made possible through discussions with various departments of Katsushika City, including the Community Promotion Division, Parks Division, and Road Maintenance Division. I’m truly grateful for their understanding and cooperation.
To create Takuga at just the right moment, keeping an eye on the weather is essential. Lately, when working on quick prints, I’ve been skipping the usual setup and spraying specially prepared ink right outside my entrance. But that means battling not only my longtime enemy—the wind—but also another tricky opponent: the rain.
Two days ago, I had to rush my materials in and out, trying to catch a dry spell between the showers. Fortunately, it looks like I managed to complete the piece in time!
I hope this project helps people appreciate the beauty of nature, but please remember that collecting plants in public spaces requires proper permission. I’m deeply thankful for the opportunity to work with these plants and hope to handle them with the respect they deserve.
