2022年にも蓮を拓画し、”国の花”をテーマにした日本橋の小津ギャラリーでの拓画展にも展示しました。
蓮はインドやスリランカ、ベトナムなどの国花だそうです。
大輪の蓮の花は4日くらい咲きますが、徐々に開花時間が長くなり、開き方も徐々に大きくなるので3日目の早朝を狙って摺ります。
この時は玄関先を養生し蓮だけ摺りましたが、8時過ぎまでかかってしまったので近所の小学生が不思議そうに眺めながら通学していた気がします。
In 2022, I also made a lotus takuga and exhibited it in a takuga exhibition at the Ozu Gallery in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, which was themed “National Flowers”.
I heard that the lotus is the national flower of India, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
The large lotus flower blooms for about four days, but the blooming time gradually lengthens and the openings gradually become larger, so I aim to print early in the morning on the third day.
At this time, I covered the front porch and only printed the lotus flowers. It still took me until after 8:00 a.m., so I think the neighborhood elementary school students were looking at me curiously as they walked to school.
